Jam Gadang

High hill town located in the tube cool West Sumatra capital of Padang. Bukittinggi has a proud icon of the Clock Tower located in the heart of a high hill. Clock Tower was built in 1926 in the Dutch East Indies government in the past. Clock Tower Big Clock means, because the hour is quite large and the clock was a gift from the Queen of the Netherlands to Rook Maker who at that time served as Controleur / Secretary at High Hill. Clock Tower was built by an architect named Yazid Sutan Gigi Ameh and placement stone for the construction was done by the Clock Tower Rook Maker's first son who was then 6 years old.
